The No. 21 Texas A&M University-Commerce volleyball team used strong all-around performances to earn a 25-21, 25-11, 25-18 sweep of Dallas Baptist University in the Field House on Tuesday evening.

With the win, the Lions move to 10-3 overall on the season, while DBU falls to 9-6. While both teams are Lone Star Conference members, this match was a non-conference tilt.

Last night in the National League Wildcard game, the Washington Nationals offense was non existent for seven innings then, a hit-by-pitch, a broken-bat single, a walk, a single and a timely error by the Milwaukee Brewers, all in the eighth inning, to erase a two-run deficit and send the Nationals to the division series with a 4-3 victory. The Nats will now face the Dodgers Thursday night at 7:37pm.  Also Thursday, St Louis is at Atlanta at 4:02pm on TBS.

The Korean Tour has suspended current money leader Bio Kim for three years after he made an obscene gesture to fans during the final round of a tournament this past weekend. Holding a one-shot lead on the 16th hole of the DGB Financial Group Open in South Korea, Kim reacted angrily after a cellphone camera went off during his downswing. His drive ended up going about 100 yards. After the poor shot, Kim, 29, turned to the crowd, flipped off fans and slammed his driver into the ground. The incident was captured on live TV in Korea
