NE Texas Man Guilty Of Child Sexual Assault

Bowie County

A Bowie County jury of eight women and four men convicted a Northeast Texas man on two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a 12-year-old girl. The jury sentenced 40-year-old Charles Edward Garton, of New Boston, to 80 years in prison on each count. The sentences will run consecutively.
