The Hopkins County Junior Market Livestock Show and Sale officially get Thursday underway at the Hopkins County Civic Center Arena. Lamb and goat weights are due between 2:00 and 3:00 pm. The Lamb show and showmanship will begin at 4:00, followed immediately by the goat show and showmanship. Friday, activities will include poultry, swine, heifers, and steers. The Northeast Texas Livestock Association stew and chili luncheon are Saturday at noon, followed by the sale of champions at 1:00 pm.
