New Executive Director For SRBA

The Sulphur River Basin Authority board passed a $196,000 budget for fiscal year 2023-24 and named a new executive director at its latest meeting at the Mount Pleasant Civic Center. The board named David Weidman, of Mount Vernon, to be the new executive director. HE’ll begin his new duties on  September 1. For the past 20 years, Weidman served as general manager of Franklin County Water District. He also previously served as a Lake Patrol Officer and Fort Worth police officer.
