A new study of traffic congestion in Texas shows the impact that it’s having on the state’s economy. The Texas Transportation Institute at Texas A&M ranks the most congested roadways in Texas each year. I-35 in Austin is at the top, while the rest of the top ten list includes freeways in Dallas and Houston.
The study measured the amount of time spent in traffic delays and the wasted fuel and concluded the overall cost to the Texas economy last year was 11-point-5 billion dollars.
