Paris – One down and one to go for the North Lamar Pantherette softball team. A furious come from behind rally and a walk off base knock in extra innings gave North Lamar a 7-6 victory over Needville in yesterday’s State Semi-Final game. Trailing 6-4 in the bottom of the 7th, Bailee Nickerson and Summer Andrews each drove in a run to send the game to the 8th. McKayla Figueroa tripled to get in to scoring position where she’d be driven home on the walk off by short stop Madison Morrison. The Pantherette’s are back on the field at the University of Texas at Austin tomorrow morning against La Grange for the Class 4A softball State Championship. You can hear the game live on MIX 107.7. First pitch is at 10am.
