Congratulations to the Swim Team and their Coach

I want to congratulate the hard work and dedication of the PHS swim team. They competed at the District swim meet in Frisco last night. They were also super excited and happy to have the support of their parents there as well as guest timers for the events, our very own Coaches Steven Hohenberger and Heather Hohenberger. Last night they competed at their District swim meet, and the boys came away with the 1st place boys team honor and the girls with second place team honors in 7-4A. Winners and advancing to Regionals next Friday are
- Luke De la Garza won 1st in both the 200 freestyle and 100 freestyle
- Kelton Varner 2nd in the 50 free
- Conner Avery is 4th in the 50 free
- Madeline Green 2nd in the 50 free
- Jaxon Bell 2nd in the 100 backstroke
Paris Girls advanced their relays to regionals coming in 2nd in both the 200 free and 400 free relays – relay members are Madeline Green, Mazy Frierson, Zarha Tapia, and Grace Moore.
The boys 200 medley relay won 1st, and advancing are Jaxon Bell, Caden Crowell, Luke De la Garza, and Conner Avery.
The boys 200 free relay won 1st, advancing to regionals are Conner Avery, Jaxon Bell, Kelton Varner, and Luke De la Garza.
And the boy’s 400 free relays placed 2nd advancing are Kelton Varner, Caden Crowell, Matthew Edwards, and Conner Avery.
