At 10:20 Wednesday night, officers responded to the 3800 block of Lamar Avenue regarding a theft. Store personnel had observed two male subjects, Heriangel Noe Rios (21) and Lauro Gonzalez (27), concealing numerous items. The two then walked past all payment points and tried to leave the store. The two were arrested and charged with Theft over $100.00 but under $750.00 and booked into the police department.
Officers received a report of stolen property Wednesday evening at 6:45 from the 100 block of S. Collegiate Dr. The victim had left her wedding ring on a restroom counter at the business. When she went to retrieve it, it was gone. The victim had observed a couple enter the bathroom and then leave. She suspects the individuals of stealing her ring. The investigation is ongoing.
Officers made 17 traffic stops, arrested three adults, and answered 92 calls for service on Wednesday, December 6.
