Paris Police Report For Wednesday (Jun 20)

Tuesday afternoon Paris Police arrested Stephen Limbaugh, 34, and Margaret Perry, 43. Officers were aware that Limbaugh had an outstanding parole violation warrant. The two were found to be in possession of marijuana, methamphetamine, and multiple prescription medications without a prescription. Limbaugh and Perry were both charged with two counts of manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and several misdemeanor charges. They also charged Limbaugh with the parole violation warrant.

Around 3:15 Tuesday afternoon, officers worked a theft in the 1800-block of W. Long. A possible known suspect had taken the complainant’s 2003 Dodge Caravan without consent. Lamar County Deputies later recovered the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers worked another fraud complaint in the 300-block of SE 9th. An unknown suspect had used the victim’s identifying information to conduct numerous transactions on the complainant’s bank account. The investigation is ongoing.

Paris Police responded to 112 calls for service and arrested nine people over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 am Wednesday (Jun 20).
