Paris Police Report For Wednesday (Jun 27)

Tuesday morning Paris Police arrested Robert Smith, 25, on an outstanding warrant for Lamar County. The court issued the motion because of fraudulent use or possession of identifying information.

Just before noon Tuesday, officers responded to the 2600-block of Lamar Ave and worked a burglary. An unknown suspect entered the complainant’s vehicle and took a handgun. The investigation is ongoing.

Tuesday evening police responded to the 500-block of Evergreen in regards to a burglary of a building. An unknown suspect forced entry into the complainant’s storage building and took numerous items. The investigation is ongoing.

Paris Police responded to 84 calls for service and arrested four people the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 am Wednesday (Jun 27).
