Tajuan Montrell Morgan
Paris Police responded to the 1300-block of Clarksville Thursday morning at 7:40 about a criminal trespass. Officers learned that Tajuan Montrell Morgan, 42, of Paris, had outstanding felony warrants. Morgan tried to run, but they apprehended him with a brief altercation. Officers charged him with failing to identify as a fugitive by giving a wrong name, criminal trespassing, and resisting arrest. One warrant was a parole violation, and two others charged Morgan with two counts of burglary of a motor vehicle. Morgan is in Lamar County Jail.
Edward Lee Gaffney, Jr.
Paris Police stopped a vehicle in the 200-block of E. Hickory Friday morning at 2:22 due to knowing that the driver had outstanding felony warrants. They arrested Edward Lee Gaffney, Jr., 34, of Paris, on a warrant charging him with three manufacturing counts or delivering a controlled substance. During the arrest, Gaffney had in his possession methamphetamine in a drug-free zone. He is in Lamar County Jail.
