Paris Police Report Monday (Jan 4)

Trevar Payne Bratcher

Paris Police responded to the 3100-block of Clarksville St last Thursday morning at 10:21 about a disturbance. Officers arrested Trevar Payne Bratcher, 20, of Paris, who failed to identify himself and fled on foot. They found he had possession of less than a gram of methamphetamine and paraphernalia consistent with narcotics distribution. Bratcher also had an outstanding felony probation violation warrant. During the investigation, Bratcher had possession of a firearm. He was charged with a felon in possession of a firearm and manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance and transferred to the Lamar County Jail.

Buddy D. Banes

Buddy D. Banes, 44, of Paris, was arrested at his residence Friday night at 7:02 on an outstanding felony warrant out of Tarrant County, charging him with possession of a controlled substance of less than one gram. He is in Lamar County Jail.

Andre Eugene Daniels

Saturday evening at 6:12, Paris Police responded to the 1800-block of Jackson Court about a disturbance. Officers located Andre Eugene Daniels, 34, of Dallas, sitting in a running vehicle stuck in the residence’s backyard. Daniels was found to be intoxicated and was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. During the arrest, Daniels resisted and assaulted an officer. Daniels was found to have a family violence conviction and had possession of a firearm. Officers charged Daniels with driving while intoxicated a second time, assault on a public servant, unlawful possession of a firearm involving family or household violence, and placed Daniels in Lamar County Jail.

At 8:25 Saturday night, Paris Police responded to a security check in the 2600-block of Crescent Dr. Officers located Cory Done Davis, 33, of Blossom, sitting on a front porch. Davis had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant and arrested. Davis had possession of several credit/debit cards that did not belong to him during the investigation. Officers charged Davis with fraudulent possession of debit cards and placed him in the Lamar County Jail.

Angela Shavell Morgan

Paris Police stopped a vehicle for a defective tail light at 10:48 Sunday morning. The driver, Angela Shavell Morgan, 43, of Petty, was found to have an outstanding felony Lamar County bond surrender warrant on a possession of a controlled substance charge. They placed Morgan in the Lamar County Jail.

Jeremy Lynn Smith

Officers stopped Jeremy Lynn Smith, 41, of Paris, for a traffic violation in the 500-block of Lamar Ave Monday at 1:00 am. Smith had possession of methamphetamine, and they arrested him for a controlled substance of less than one gram. Smith was booked and then transferred to the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to 275 calls for service and arrested 18 persons over the holiday weekend ending at midnight Sunday (Jan 3).
