Paul Pewitt High School Football Player Killed in Shooting

A 16 year old Northeast Texas High School football player was shot Saturday night. Paul Pewitt High School has confirmed that sophomore Deadrian Webster died of a gunshot wound. There are unconfirmed reports that another person was wounded in the incident and that one person has been arrested. A candlelight vigil was held last night at the Paul Pewitt Football field. Counselors and area clergy will be available on campus throughout the day for students, faculty and staff.
