An upper-level storm system will approach Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma, Southwest Arkansas, and Louisiana from the west late this week with increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms. At this time, it appears that the necessary ingredients will be in place for a significant severe weather outbreak sometime late Friday through Friday Night. Tornadoes will be possible, along with damaging straight-line wind, and large hail.
