Some hospital systems are requiring employees to get vaccinated against Covid-19, and many doctors are encouraging the move. Cardiologist Fahmi Farah says we’re learning more about the virus, and the “Delta” variant is more contagious than earlier strains. She says the vaccine is available to everyone, but hospitalizations in Texas increased four-fold over the past month. She says many hospitals already require proof of other vaccinations to stay employed or keep privileges at a campus.
