Squirrel Turns Off Power To Texarkan Residents

SWEPCO reported a large power outage in North Texarkana, affecting thousands of residents along northwest I-30. It started at 9:30 on Thursday morning, involving over 5,500 customers. They expect restoration by 1:00 pm Friday. After getting around animal protection devices, Rocky the squirrel brought the area to a stop. No one noticed if Bullwinkle was in the area.
