The U.S. Department of Energy has awarded the Texas Division of Emergency Management $60.6 million to help utilities improve infrastructure on the state’s electricity grid. They will use the funds to modernize the electric grid, reduce the impacts of extreme weather and natural disasters, and enhance power sector reliability.
