Tennessee Man Jailed After Police Chase

A Tennessee man has been arrested after he attempted to flee local officers who stopped him on I-30 in Hopkins County for a traffic violation. The man appeared to be getting out of his vehicle, but then got in and sped away. 43 year old Dana Lee Porter was taken into custody after State Troopers spiked his tires near the Hopkins-Franklin County line. His bond was set at $50,000 for the local evading charge, and a pre-set $250,000 bond out of Tennessee for drug trafficking.
