Texas AG Prosecuting Three For Murder At Kilgore

The Texas Attorney General’s Office will prosecute three people accused in the murder of a pregnant Kilgore woman. Allen Lamont Sutton, 35, of Henderson, and Laneshia L. Young, 31, of Overton, were indicted in 2021 in connection with the death of Sheryia Grant. Grant was eight months pregnant at the time of her reported disappearance in August 2016. A June 2022 indictment named Edward Brager, 24, of Troup, also having performed the same actions as Sutton and Young, though he was technically a juvenile at the time.
