Texas Rangers Assist Denton County In Officer Involved Shooting

Texas Rangers are assisting Denton County Deputies in the investigation into the fatal shooting of a suspect who Lantana residents say entered their home without permission early Saturday morning, looking for a household member. A 9-1-1 caller alerted officers, who arrived and shot a 61-year-old man they say pointed that gun at them.   Both deputies were unharmed.
