Texas Refinery Using Use Waste To Make Fuel

The nation’s largest refiner is using trash to power trucks. Valero is building their first renewable diesel plant in Texas, and it will create fuel out of animal and plant byproducts. The plant in Port Arthur will be pumping out 470-million gallons of low carbon transportation fuel every year. Trucking companies don’t need to make changes either. This type of renewable diesel works just like the regular kind.
