Three Oklahoma Native American tribes still participate in a federal program despite the state withdrawing its involvement. The state of Oklahoma won’t be participating in the USDA’s ‘Summer EBT’ program. The Choctaw, Cherokee, and Chickasaw Nations will remain enrolled, providing meals to low-income families with children while school is out for summer break.
