Tiger Town Tournament Plus Boys Shutout In Indy In Today’s Sports

In the TRMC Tiger Town Tournament Saturday night, Longview defeated Mount Pleasant 57-43. Coming up in High School basketball on Tuesday:

If you’re a Dallas sports team, this weekend was probably one you want to forget. On Saturday night the Dallas Stars finished a 24-game stretch in which 17 of them were on the road. The 6-4 loss at Colorado Saturday finished a four-game road trip where Dallas didn’t run a game. Dallas will be back home Tuesday to play Calgary.

On Sunday the Dallas Cowboys were embarrassed by the Indianapolis Colts 23-0; snapping Dallas five-game winning streak. Prior to Sunday, The last time Dallas was shutout in a game was back in 2003. To make matters worse for the Boys, Washington defeated Jacksonville in OT, while the Eagles defeated the Los Angeles Rams meaning Dallas still hasn’t clinched the division. Dallas will try to clinch the division Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

On Sunday night the Dallas Mavericks came out flat against the Sacramento Kings as they fall 120-113; snapping Dallas’ 11-game home winning streak. Luka Doncic led Dallas with 28 points, six rebounds, and nine assists. The Mavs will begin a four-game road trip on Tuesday against the top team in the western conference: the Denver Nuggets.

In Sunday Night Football, Nick Foles is back and he sparked the Philadelphia Eagles upset the LA Rams 30-23.
Tonight’s MNF matchup features the Saints at Carolina.

In the AutoNation Cure Bowl Tulane beat Louisiana 41-24. In the Camelia Bowl, GA Southern beat Eastern Michigan 23-21. In the New Orleans Bowl, Appalachian State rolled Middle Tennessee 45-13. In the New Mexico Bowl Utah State crushed North Texas 52-13 and in the Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl, it was North Carolina A&T 24, Alcorn State 22. The next bowl game is Tuesday night, the Cheribundi Boca Raton Bowl with UAB vs. Northern Illinois.
