Two County Police Chase Ends in Arrest in Clarksville

A local man is being held in the Lamar County jail after leading officers on a chase from  Lamar County to Red River County. 35-year-old Roddrick Ricks was stopped by a Lamar County deputy in Blossom for an equipment violation and asked to exit his vehicle when the deputy smelled alcohol and burnt marijuana.  Ricks then drove away and then led the deputy on a chase that ended in a driveway in Clarksville. He’s charged with evading arrest with a vehicle.
