Sales Tax Allocations Up In Texas

The Texas Comptroller’s office will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose taxing districts $801.5 million in local sales tax allocations for September. That’s 8.5 percent more than in September 2018. These allocations are based on sales made in July by businesses that report tax monthly.
