About 50 runners and walkers braved strong winds Saturday at the United Way of Lamar County’s Live United 5k at Pine Ridge Golf in Reno. Organizers estimate that they raised about $4,300 at the event. High School junior Adam Hartman took first place in the men’s group, and Taylor Sandoval of Tailored Rides won the women’s division.
