Fatal Greenville Pedestrian Vs Vehicle Crash

On June 28, 2018, around 9:40 p.m., a pedestrian was walking eastbound in the 4900-block of Joe Ramsey Boulevard. The pedestrian, a 27-year-old Hispanic male, was wearing dark clothing and walking in the right lane of traffic. The driver of a Sports Utility Vehicle was driving eastbound and struck the male who was still in the lane of traffic. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital by ambulance in serious condition where he was pronounced deceased shortly after 10:00 pm. Texas DPS assisted with the accident investigation. No further information is available at this time.
