After deliberating for only 51 minutes, a Choctaw County jury found Carl Lewis Moore Jr. not guilty of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl.  Choctaw County deputies were accused by the victim’s parents of never fully investigating the incidents when it was originally reported.

  Paris Police arrested 29 year old  Thomas Frazier  in the 1900 block of NW 19th  on three warrants for delivery of marijuana. At the time of his arrest, he was allegedly in possession of approximately two pounds of marijuana and he was also charged with possession.
