Bell County, Texas, has declared a local disaster, preparing for an influx of visitors for this April’s total solar eclipse. The county where the city of Killeen and Fort Cavazos is is in the Path of Totality, where the moon completely covers the sun. The county says the surge of visitors to view the eclipse could strain first responders, fuel, hospitals, food, and traffic.
