Car Burglar Caught

Texarkana Police arrested Marshayla Whitlock, 23, of Rockford, Illinois, for two counts of vehicle burglary. They stopped her Wednesday morning around 2:30 after a 911 call that someone was breaking into cars at an apartment complex on Summerhill Rd. The officer spotted a small black purse and a Pleasant Grove ISD Chromebook in her vehicle that officers reported missing at the scene. Whitlock’s bond is $20,000, and they are looking for a man that was involved.
