Grocery Tax To Be Eliminated In Oklahoma

  Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt signed House Bill 1955 on Tuesday morning. The bill eliminates the 4.5 percent tax on groceries. Oklahoma had been one of only 13 states with a tax on grocery items. The new law will go into effect in August.
