ET Teacher Charged With PI on Campus

A Tyler-Chapel Hill ISD teacher was arrested after he was found intoxicated on school property. Thirty-eight-year old Charles Applegate was found by a Smith County deputy working as school resource officer passed out and intoxicated in a vehicle in the school’s parking lot. He was also allegedly in possession of a used  aerosol can. He faces charges of public intoxication and possession of inhalants.
