A Rains County man has again pleaded guilty to the production and transportation of child pornography. Previously, 38-year-old Michael David Crider, Jr., of Point, had pleaded guilty to the indictments, but a federal judge rejected the proposed plea deal of 180 months in prison. The judge ruled the sentence was too lenient because the victim was a toddler. The minimum sentence for using a child under the age of 12 in the production of pornography is 360 months in prison.
