Trial Underway In Franklin County For Former NHL Star

Opening statements by prosecutors and defense lawyers were presented Tuesday in Franklin County District Court in the former Major League Hockey Star Mike Ribeiro trial. The prosecutors are charging Ribeiro with two counts of Sexual assault and one count of Attempted Sexual Assault. Eighth District Judge Eddie Northcutt presides over the trial, which they expect to last two weeks.
