AT&T Outage Not Cyber-Attack

AT&T says Thursday’s network outage was not the result of a cyberattack. The national outage started before dawn Thursday, and AT&T fully restored service at about 5:00 pm. Officials believe the application and execution of an incorrect process used as they expanded the network caused the outage, not a cyber attack.
